Believe it or not, even though I didn’t really enjoy the city of Chengdu, this hotel completely made my stay worthwhile. It is a high-quality hotel with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a beautiful bathroom. While the view wasn’t particularly impressive, the room provided everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and great taste. What impressed me the most, how's, was the staff. They were extremely kind and accommodating, even allowing us a complimentary three-hour late check-out when they realized we needed extra time. This hotel truly saved our trip, turning what could have been a disappointing city visit into a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

ChanYin Hotel cuenta con un gimnasio, jardín, un salón compartido y restaurante en Chengdú. El hotel más bonito, auténtico y zen en el cual he estado. Nos daba miedo reservar porque es nuevo y tiene pocas reseñas, pero lo aconsejo 100%. Además de precioso y auténtico de la cultura zen china, tienen actividades como la ceremonia del te, del incienso y la copia de escrituras sagradas que son muy bonitas y además gratuitas. Espectacular todo.ademas está cerca de todo. Hay un templo con una zona preciosa de comida y tiendas espectaculares justo a 15' a pie: Wenshu monastery.

Our stay at Qingcheng hegu haven was really enjoyable. Nestled at the foot of the hills, it’s surrounded by nature—just a heads-up: pack mosquito repellent as there are some bugs in the evenings. The host’s warmth made us feel like family from the moment we arrived—they even mapped out hidden local eateries and scenic trails that became highlights. The traditional Chinese decor is nice, especially the lotus pond at dusk. Being 10 minutes from the Panda Base was a plus, and after exploring, the hot springs and Chinese-style SPA were quite relaxing. Minor note: stairs from reception to rooms mean extra help with luggage, but the waitstaff happily carried ours. Worth considering for a stay in the area.​

The hotel staff helped me borrow a bicycle so that I could go around the lake and see the beautiful scenery.

Hotel is very pretty, as advertised! Location is also really good, near by car to tourist locations. Staff are also friendly. We love the free laundry service, and they also provide steamer. Value for money and Instagram-worthy for a stay in Chengdu. Tip: further down the street is University street with cute cafes!

To visit Lugu Lake, choosing this hotel is definitely the right decision I've ever made! The location is stunning, and it is not an exaggeration to say that this place has the most beautiful views of the entire Lake Lu Tu. At the hotel's doorstep is the beach by the lake. The sand is fine, and bare feet step on it, and the tingling feel comes from the soles of the feet. In the afternoon I feed the gulls here, and as soon as I get the food out, swarms of the gulls come cheerfully, flying up and down around me, chirping as if they were writing a musical song. Their white wings sparkle in the sunlight and make a beautiful picture with the blue waters of the lake and the distant mountains. When the sun goes down, the sunset shines brightly on the lake, and the gulls are dyed warm orange, beautiful as a wonderland. I just sat quietly on the beach, watching the beautiful scenery in front of me, feeling that all my worries were thrown away. This hotel brought me not only a comfortable stay but also a visual feast. I will stay here next time I visit Lugu Lake!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming family-run guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the hosts made us feel right at home. But the absolute standout feature was the private pool on the balcony — a serene place to relax after a long hike. The location, right at the foot of Qingchengshan, couldn’t have been better. It was the perfect base for exploring the area and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and heartfelt stay.
