The accommodation offers a hot tub. We travel a lot and once in a while a place stands out for exceptional hospitality. This is one of those places. The hotel is family run and while they don’t speak great English they were incredibly helpful in helping us plan our time. They were very knowledgable of the area and knew where and when we should visit every attraction. They also gave us some 10/10 restaurant recommendations. Room was lovely, modern and clean and they also gave us a ride to the airport free of charge when we left. Highly recommend. 👍

I think the thing i liked the most was the kindness and support i got from Miss Xei (i don't know if its correctly written sorry 😂) she was 200% helpful, kind, always thoughtful and helped a lot building my plan in the park! Even helped me find so really good typical restaurants! Thank you so very much! I couldn't do it without you! I'm just so sorry i could not say goodbye personally!

Embraced by the greenery, No.5 Valley Inn is 2 km from the west gate (Yangjiajie ticket booth) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Free shuttle between the property and the west gate is provided and it takes 5 minutes' car journey per run. The property covers 10,000 square metres and owns 40 guest rooms scattered in 5 buildings. Each room features different room themes and mountain or garden views.

Every guest room comes with air conditioning and is fitted with an electric kettle and a dining area with dining table. The private bathroom has shower facilities, free toiletries and hairdryer. We went to No5 Valley Lodge to explore the Zhangjiajie National Park, and we loved every bit of it. The lodge is in a very remote area, meaning that you're not close to shops or towns, but that's exactly what we were looking for. It's 5 minutes away from the west entrance of the park, which was perfect in our opinion because we managed to escape the crowds on most of our hikes. The lodge is beautiful and the pictures don't always do it justice, especially the view from the restaurant and swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and very cosy. We started in one of the rooms, that was next to the swimming pool, and as the weather was getting colder (low season), the heating system had been turned on, which meant it made quite a lot of noise. We let the staff know about this and they immediately changed our rooms and upgraded us. The staff, and particularly Frankie, is very friendly and helpful. They're very organised and will provide you with pre-defined routes of visit for the park, which is great as it's quite a confusing and large park, so you just have to follow their guidance! Finally, we loved the food there, it was of really good quality, but note it's not western. Again, that's what we wanted, so we were very happy with it.
