Based in Uchisar, 300m away from the Uchisar castle, Mayda hotel is the place to stay while visiting Cappadocia. Far enough from Goreme and its crowded streets but close enough to benefit from all the areas' beauties. We arrived close to midnight but we were greeted by our host(owner) who also took the time to draw us a "To do list" for our 3 day stay. I recommend this hotel for its location, price, amenities, breakfast and last, but not least, the management who went well above and beyond the call of duty to make our short stay there memorable with local experiences (make your own pottery, wine tasting)and many more. Looking forward to returning here, Cappadocia and Mayda Hotel.

The view was stunning, our room was really comfortable, we really liked staying at the living room with the heater, also the breakfast was amazing, and the most excellent were the staffs, we arrived Turkey actually on a long public holiday, so we couldn’t find any money exchange store, one of the staff and his brother helped us to exchange money with a perfect rate, we really appreciated it! All of the staffs were helpful and friendly, even Tarcin always energetic haha!

The most pleasant stay we’ve experienced. From start to finish, the friendly service was exceptional. So attentive and willing to help with anything. The room was stunning and spacious. Staying in a cave was such a memorable experience and I would recommend to anyone! So many excellent restaurants around as well. No bad things to say- left very happy!

1. Location is excellent; quiet yet in the middle of everything. Uchisar castle is at 4 min walking distance; Guvercinlik valley starts right at the door of the hotel- so you can do a fantastic hike to Goreme through the valley. 2. Staff; all of the staff treat you like family, we felt at home every second of the day. Melek Hn and Seda Hn at the reception are exceptionally hands on for all our requests (balloon ride and the Swirling Dervish night; they found a last minute guide for us too!! Incredibly helpful. 3. Food; is home cooked turkish food quality. breakfast served in the morning has incredible variety and is impossible for 2 people to finish. (And we eat a lot) The Pacanga borek is a must for anyone to try. They have a great wine collection both from the region and from other parts of Turkey. The service is impeccable, always with smiley faces and in a way that puts you first! 4. Rooms - are very nice! Authentic experience. Wide selection for your budget and for your taste. 5. Owners- Can Bey and Sanem Hanim are always on the property to check in on you and your comfort / joy. They want to make sure you enjoy your stay; they treat you as a friend and share all the local secrets of the area with you. We got a personal tour from Can Bey around the hotel just at the beginning of the Guvercinlik Valley. Fantastic to have such an experience shared with the passionate local people.

Great location, cleanliness, comfort was nice Staff service was the best, very helpfull and always ready to please every need with very great tips. As Avdullah the owner said , Im here to make every dream make it possible. Location was great. Facilities autdoor jaccuzi with a view. Wi-Fi was quick and with high speed. The staff at reception (specialy Jusuf) and the service in general were extremely welcoming and helped us with every need. The room was clean. The breakfast was traditional turkish with everything home made prepared with love. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to please every need and feel very welcomed. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d happily return, especially for the friendly service and great location. Thanks Abdullah for your big heart and historical information that you gave to us.     Uchisar is a small town, and they were easily located close to everything. Also, right next to Taxi stand. Bathrooms have huge bath tubs, Jacuzzi style. Hosts are very warm and eager to help. The breakfast was a lavish spread, and young boys Nuri and Harun were extremely helpful and pleasent. Paprkia Burger Place was a great lunch/dinner spot with 5* food!
