Wow! I have never stayed anywhere so beautiful in my life. We were truly blown away by our stay, which was made so special by all of the staff. I booked this as a birthday surprise for my partner. From the beginning, the communication was excellent in organising this surprise with Sebea. On arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and juice. Taken to our room, my partner was surprised with the bed decorations, cake, champagne, and even our favourite song playing in the background. It was amazing, as soon as the staff left the room we decided we needed to book an extra night!! Bunrong was an amazing host and made sure everything was going well and we got to do enjoy all Kampot & Amber had to offer. We also had great chats and communication with Chantra - thank you! That evening, I had booked us the Destination Dining - Khmer Menu. If you are looking for something to celebrate a special occasion, this is it! Such a beautiful romantic set up candle lit on the waterfront, the service by Monita was incredible, and the food all so delicious. The next morning, we decided we wanted to go for a bike ride. We were guided by Lundy through the island, exploring rice and salt fields, and a local arts centre. Without him we most certainly would have got lost! It was the perfect activity. Staff also helped us with water taxis to the main town, delicious cocktails, and throughout the stay we were constantly spoiled with treats, room clean ups, fresh towels and the most helpful staff. Our pool and the main pool were both so amazing we spent hours in here. Breakfast was delicious and we even had it floating in our pool on the second day. We could honestly go on and on. Tara Lodge is an amazing place! The room was clean and beautiful. Lots of butterflies in the garden and the pool was the best one we had during our travels. The staff is super nice!

Friendly and helpful owners, amazing home cooked food, quiet location.

Fantastic property backing onto the National Park. The wooden bungalow is charming. No bathroom or shower for these but there are 2 toilets and 2 showers for the 3 huts so not congested. Other bungalows are all en suite. Pool is stunning. Great lighting in the bungalow which is much appreciated. Lionel the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful and can arrange anything. About 10 minutes to the Crab market and restaurants but recommend a scooter so you can really get out and about.

The breakfast was ample and delicious. The rooms were not big but they were clean and comfortable, with get airconditioning and nice touches like flowers on the bed and really nice shampoos and soaps etc. It was very easy to walk to the beach, but also easy to get a tuk tuk. Most of all the staff are very hard working, friendly and always happy to help with anything they can provide. Lastly, the pool was lovely every evening to relax and refresh after a hot day at the beach.

We had an excellent stay around New Years eve, 1 minute walk from the crab market. Nice stopover for those like us travelling from Sihanoukville to Vietnamese border. The hotel was also helpful in trying to find back our lost phone.

The staff were amazing! They helped us with our journey into Vietnam, and it all worked out perfectly. The hotel isn't quite finished, hence scoring a 9 instead of a 10. The rooms and pool were fabulous, and I'm sure the addition of the sky bar will make it even better! The Kep Natural restaurant, a short walk from the hotel is worth a visit too.
