Freedom Hostel in Manchester is truly one of a kind. 🏡 Neil and his amazing mum Sue 👩‍👦 made me feel completely at home – even inviting me to a lovely dinner 🍽️! The hostel has a warm, open-minded vibe 🤝 with friendly guests from all backgrounds 🌐. It’s in a quiet area 🌳 and feels more like a family than a hostel 🧡. The house is open 24/7 🕒, and the two cute dogs 🐶🐶 might bark at first 🐾 but they’re super friendly. Neil is a great host 👏 kind, professional, and full of travel wisdom ✈️🌎. The lodge was perfect. we got there a tad early & bumped into a lovely Australian cleaner Janice (i think). She was so lovely & apologetic for still being there. We wanted her to stay with us.. she deserves a nice Christmas bonus 😉. absolute credit to your venue. Everything is done to a very high standard of quality... absolutely stunning inside the lodge & the scenery up there is picturesque even in winter 😀

Downton Abbey in the heart of Manchester . Step back in time, incredible from the outside , amazing on the inside. From the many smartly suited reception staff, concierge and guest services staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The elevated Martini style bar just opposite reception entices you to try out there many offerings, with that extra temptation of delectable savouries and snacks. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was kept at the perfect temperature throughout. Had no time to try the spa out. Location wise is perfect , China town 5 minutes walk. Sports bars, would recommend 'The Box' just over 5 minutes away. Lots of trendy bars on the same street as the hotel. Tram stop just 5 minutes away, we went to the Trafford centre, 1 change, same stop, £3.80. 20 minutes on the tram. We look forward to staying again next time we are in Manchester. Keep up the excellent standards *****
