Pezula Magic Escape is a guest house located on a quiet close in the Pezula Golf Estate with gorgeous views of the Knysna Lagoon, surrounding mountain ranges and town area. This luxury establishment is ideal for the discerning traveler. We have 6 units on the property each accommodating 2 adults. The unit types vary from self-catering apartments to comfort, deluxe and luxury suites, each offering guests an opulent environment to relax and unwind with every feature tastefully considered and provided. We have recently installed a new 10KVA inverter as well as gas geysers offering 24/7 Wi-Fi, TV, Netflix, lights, and some appliances during loadshedding/power outages.
Originally from Johannesburg, our family moved to the Pezula Golf Estate in 2001. Ex IT-Industry, my husband and I escaped the city with our young son and daughter to the beautiful town of Knysna. Now we manufacture products for the plumbing industry and I started hosting in 2021. I also play golf & bowls. I now own 7 rental units on Pezula and I’m enjoying this new experience because I get to meet great people from around the world. I’m very hands-on and committed to ensuring my guests have only the best quality when staying at any of my establishments. My team and I are very committed to making your stay an incredible one. I live on the estate and my team and I will be most attentive to all your needs and will happily assist with specific requests. There are a selection of activities available on the estate including golf, hiking, cycling and tennis. There are tennis courts and a jungle gym for children just up the road. Guests can also book a treatment at the Pezula Resort & Spa and will then have access to the Spa's gym, sauna, steam room and indoor pool. Recent winner of the 2022 Kfm Best of the Cape “BEST DORPIE” (Afrikaans for "Small Town") Award, Knysna has so much to offer. From boat cruises on the lagoon, deep sea fishing excursions, hiking, bike trails, horseback riding, indigenous forests and beaches, and myriads of drink and dining experiences right on the water. Knysna boasts 3 fantastic golf courses - Pezula Championship Golf Course, Knysna Golf Club & the Jack Nicholas-designed Simola Golf Club. The Knysna CBD is a 15-minute drive from the accommodation offering guests an array of restaurants, and boutique clothing stores, as well as a Woolworths, Spar, Pick ‘n Pay, and Food Lover’s Market – it’s all here for visitors to explore! Knysna offers some of the best weather in the world!

- Smoking/vaping and the use of an incense, smoke producing or perfume producing devices are strictly prohibited inside our suites, apartments or the house. There are designated outdoor areas, decks & balconies for these activities.

- Pezula is a closed high-security estate with regular patrols of the area.

- The speed limit on the estate is 40 km/hour, and in the interest of safety (children, residents & animals) this should not be exceeded.

- No parties or events on the property/estate.

- No excessive noise past 10pm.

- Regret no pets.

- Please follow the host’s requirements for preventing baboons entering and damaging the properties. This will be communicated upon arrival.

- If any breakages or accidental spills occur, we ask that you please report the incident to the host or to housekeeping immediately.

- Walking on the Golf Course is permitted before 7AM and after 7PM. No bicycles allowed on the Golf Course.

- Pezula Estate Rules allow a maximum of 2 people per room at Magic Escape Guest House.
