The space is light and airy. We love that you can see the stars at night through the skylights. (You can pull the curtains on the skylight closed to keep your room nice and dark to sleep in!) The bath tub is super great after a day hiking, skiing or bicycling! Lots of folks LOVE to hang out in the hammock and watch the hummingbirds and butterflies in the amazing garden. We love that people love this!! Welcome! Our spacious guest parking is located behind the house. Enjoy the WiFi. There are classic DVD's for you on the bookshelf in the larger bedroom. Silverware, board games and cloth napkins can be found in the side board in the kitchen. Feel free to use the BBQ Grill, hammock and herbs and any vegetables growing in the back yard. There are binoculars, field guides, novels, kids books, cards from restaurants and bakeries we truly love on the bookshelf in the hall. There are more great goodies to be had at our local eatery, The Circle W, the post office, gas and sundries are also in easy walking distance. We love to hike, cycle, dance, dine, and swim. All great things to do in the Catskills. We've lived here for 10 years and know all the best places to go, like secluded swimming holes with waterfalls, farms that are open to exploration, art galore and the Palenville - Platt Clove bicycle challenge. Lea loves to bake and share goodies with folks who come to stay. Jeff is famous in the North East for his soups and chili. We enjoy meeting new people and love to help folks discover the amazing Catskills. Taking in a concert at the historic Maverick or live theater at the Woodstock Playhouse. The Woodstock Film Festival, held each October, a movie lovers delight and the Woodstock Writers Festival which is an intellectual odyssey are some of our favorite events.
