He also knows about the forests and lakes , foraging and cooking and what lives here. The house is situated at 1500 feet elevation on 7 private acres on a quiet dead end dirt road. There are few close neighbors. There's is a babbling brook and the sounds and sights of nature are all around you. The back deck faces a small yard and lots of woods to explore. There's a nice firepit and plenty of wood for your evenings enjoyment. The road is gravel and you can take a long walk out past the house. The leaf peeping is excellent! Garnet lake is just 5 minutes away for your hiking and paddling pleasure. There are hundreds of trails in easy reach all around Johnsburg. You will need your own transportation here. the property is located about 15 minutes drive to North Creek where there are food stores, shopping, gas stations, restaurants etc.
