Raiateaguest is situated 2.9 km from the centre of Uturoa on the east coast; there is no public transport in Raiatea, so if you are staying for a few days it is not worth hiring a car. There is also a shuttle taxi service for transfers from the airport to your guesthouse and vice versa. the auto stop also works well. There is a small shop 5 minutes walk away where you will find everything you need on arrival.
