The company, Visit Waiheke, was established on Waiheke Island in 2003 and has, since, managed between 30 and 65 holiday houses at any one time. We are passionate about our beautiful island and look forward to meeting you and sharing our local knowledge of places to see and things to do.

From the moment you open the door you can begin to relax in this gorgeous, welcoming cottage. With old world charm but tasteful, comfortable furnishings you will instantly sink into that holiday feeling whatever time of year. Your morning might begin with coffee in the open plan kitchen/living area looking out to the sun-drenched deck and flat lawn while you make plans for the day. You might grab a bike from the sports shed or a beach chair and wander the 6 or 7 minutes to Oneroa beach. You’ll probably come back via the excellent shops in Oneroa with supplies for a delicious lunch. An outdoor shower is great for post beach refreshment. Lunch is on the deck under the shade sail followed by a game of badminton. Or if that’s too energetic the hammock awaits. With decks at the front and back of the house you can follow the sun or the shade all day.

A spa pre-dinner will ensure total relaxation. Listen to the quietness, and the tuis. From there its bbq time or head out on foot to a choice of great local restaurants. Everything is walking distance which gives you that real Oneroa village experience. If you’re heading to a wedding, you're just a short cab ride away from the popular Mud brick and Cable bay vineyards. With two living spaces, everyone has room to do what they want. A fibre connection ensures the wifi is excellent. Use the apple box or chrome cast to access your own internet tv choices. On wet days there are good old fashioned board games and puzzles, or check out the funky Waiheke cinema in Oneroa. If it’s cold enough you might light the fire, but with three oil heaters and good insulation you’ll be toasty regardless. In this location you don’t need a car so it’s an ideal spot for a weekend escape. Jump on the number 1 bus from Matiatia wharf which stops at the end of the road. Watch out for ducks crossing and proceed 100 metres. And then relax.
