Property information
Lighthouse Panorama Lofoten
At Lofoten's northernmost point lies the village of Kvalnes and our chalet Lighthouse Panorama. Close to the Atlantic Ocean, with a unique view of the midnight sun during the summer and the northern lights (aurora borealis) from 1st of September.
The cabin is rustic with some charming details. At the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining room, living room, as well as a spacious bathroom with heating cables and bathtub. On the second floor you will find the bedrooms with comfortable beds framed in a rustic atmosphere. Here you can feel the forces of nature on stormy days or enjoy the sky in the night through the roof windows. The stairs to the bedrooms are pretty steep as ofte is in typical Lofoten buildings, so keep that in mind :)
The cabin is well equipped, but the dishes must be done the old way. We have replaced TV and Internet with silence and a cozy book - worth a try :) The garden is large and with several seating areas. There is trails down to the lighthouse by the sea and to the mountains on the other side. Just a few hundre meters up the road there is a nice beach.
Enjoy some wonderful days in a cabin on the shore of the Arctic sea.
