Set in a monumental building on the banks of the Amstel River, Intercontinental Amstel has a Mediterranean restaurant with a terrace. It features a health club including an indoor pool with iconic views over the river. The tasteful rooms and (signature) suites at Intercontinental Amstel offer panoramic views over the city and the river. The Amstel hotel has different F&B outlets. The Amstel Restaurant combines high quality and casual comfort. We proudly serve an international choice of food and drinks, with a Dutch twist. Suitable for lunch or dinner. During weekdays you can enjoy a drink in the lounge. On Saturdays and Sundays, we serve our Afternoon Tea in the lounge with two shifts. The Amstel Bar is the perfect solution for those who wish for a contemporary luxury experience. Each restaurant has a beautiful view on the Amstel River. Royal Theatre Carré is a 5-minute walk away, while the Van Gogh Museum is at 1.9 km distance. Dam Square and the Royal Palace are a 10-minute tram ride away.
