The house location gives you the flexibility to get to know a little bit of all the corners of Inhambane Town. Drive for 10mins you are in Inhambane Town, drive for another 20mins you are in Tofo beach and that is pretty much the same amount of time it would take you to go to most other beaches. I am Hilda and my husband I had a vision of a paradise when we built our house. We want to feel comfortable but still fit in the environment surrounding us. I think we managed that and that reflects in our property location choice and how the house looks like. We have three kids and two of them grow up in the house having loads of fun. Our children learned how to value and respect from the little insects to be big animals in this house. The Island will always be home and we hope you can feel the same during your short or long stay.

It is a very calm neighbourhood, but you are very close to town if you would like to see and be in a more noisy and live place once in a while. To participate in local events it all depends on the time of the year you decide to visit. Restaurants are all in town so you will need to use a taxi or your own vehicle. Inhambane has several arts and crafts shops where you can find lots of souvenirs and other Mozambican gifts to take back with you. Also 5 mins by car you can find the Market, Bakery and the little Indian shops where you can pretty much find anything you are looking for. The kids will enjoy the bay and the many insects and other aquatic animals available surrounding the property. If you have a wind surfing equipment, and like to snorkel, fishing and canoeing, the bay is the perfect place for it! The area is pretty safe, but like any other place around the world it is always good to keep your eyes open and take standard precautions.
