Our holiday home is located in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the main coastal road and Trou D'eau Douce featuring spots that make it famous in Mauritius. It is very private and designed for a big family or a standard 4 person family with friends to have a good time and enjoy the East Coast of oir island. It was built and finished in 2022. Apart from the school holidays and some long weekends, it was barely used before being put out to rent.
I was in the aviation sector working as Engineer for our local airline before I decided that life is too short and I am missing out on my kids growing up. Hence, I left my job and decided to spend more time with the family. Since, we are barely using our holiday home, we decided to let others enjoy it until the kids are grown up and the wife and I can retire quietly.
It is very quiet and peaceful. The East coast is the least developped area of Mauritius. No wonder that all the high end and most renowned hotels like the Touessrock are located there. The house is not far from Trou D'eau Douce main coastal road and featured restaurants like 'Chez Tino' and 'Green Island'. 'La Pizza De L'Est' is also worth a stop for some succulent pizzas. For other places, please check out le Cafe des Arts which is within walking distance....
