Newly renovated holiday rooms, launching the first week of June 2024. The property offers the comfort of three holiday rooms each one enjoys the comfort of having it's own private bathroom and separate entrance. The property is located at the very center of the city in one if the most photographed streets of the Maltese Capital being only 50 meter away from St. John's Co. Cathedral and the Upper Barrakka Gardens, few steps away from the spectacular views of the Grand Harbour and the Three Cities. Matilde Suites are surrounded by lovely restaurants offering a vast variety of foods mostly Mediterranean. In the evening one can enjoy a subtle nightlife with a fresh glass of wine or beer. The location is ideal to visit all year round as the property is a walking distance to all events held in the city such as Carnival in February and Easter as you can watch the traditional Good Friday procession from the comfort of our property.
We are a lovely family with a young baby girl after whom the property is named. Our interest is to put our energy and dedication to offer our guests a lovely comfortable stay in our brand new rooms. The rooms were launched for bookings in June, 2024.
The neighbourhood is a lively one, Infront of our property we have an LGBTIQ+ lounge and many lounges around where one can enjoy a nice cocktail enjoying the amazing views of Fort St. Angelo and the Three Cities. The property is only 50m away from St. John's Co. Cathedral. Next door to the property is a barber shop, few meters away there are multiple hair dressing-beauty salons, a public laundry with washing and drying service and also an ATM.
