Kannas is located deep in the peaceful Latvian countryside, surrounded by wild meadows, old oak trees, and the gentle rhythm of rural life. A well-kept dirt road leads to the cabins — adding to the authentic country feel. While there are a few neighboring homes nearby, they’re at a comfortable distance and home to kind, quiet, and respectful locals. No barking dogs, no parties — just calm, space, and birdsong. There are grocery stores just a short drive away, but not within walking distance, so we recommend planning ahead for meals. And if you’re up for exploring, we’re lucky to have a wonderful local community just a short drive away at Krapes muiža — where neighbors from the area offer unique rural tourism experiences and high-quality local products.
