Our two rooms are elegantly furnished with fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms offer ultra-comfortable bed linen, extra pillows, bath linen and amenities. The kitchenette includes a cozy pantry, tea/coffee maker, cutlery, crockery, and a mini fridge. Guests also have access to a swimming pool and gymnasium within the neighborhood. Daily home cooked local or international breakfast options are available for both adults and children. For other meals, a specially curated a-la-carte menu is available from the local restaurants. Our serene home is the ideal destination for visitors to Sri Lanka, whether for work or leisure. We cater to individuals, couples, and small families, and we also welcome pets upon request. Co-Founders and Owners of Summer House, Padmi & Chandima are life partners and passionate hospitality industry experts with a career of 20+ years managing top hospitality brands. Summer House is our passion project, and we designed and built it to showcase a typical Sri Lankan home-style stay in complete privacy with all modern comforts for the enjoyment of all guests. We are passionate about showcasing simple yet sincere Sri Lankan hospitality to our guests. We are consistently in pursuit to create experiences and little moments that our guests will cherish and share with their loved ones.

We chose the neighbourhood to build our own home and simply fell in love with its connection with nature, peaceful and serene surroundings and easy access to key landmarks and popular destinations of the island. Later, we built Summer House next to our own home for guests visiting Sri Lanka and looking for a homely stay. We can therefore have the pleasure of hosting them. We are happy to book spa appointments and local experience tours for our guests based on their preference prior or during their stay. Guests can access the swimming pool and gymnasium located within the neighbourhood. Our guests who love adventure and ride around in a tuk tuk love the fact that we are located only 20 minutes away from the official tuk tuk rental company in Sri Lanka (tuktukrental.com)!
