El Tsukihitei se encuentra en el bosque primitivo de Kasugayama, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Las habitaciones tienen una decoración de estilo japonés y ofrecen vistas panorámicas del bosque, suelo tradicional de tatami (entramado de paja) y biombos de papel shoji.
