Chieti is not the typical destination for a day trip. Most tourists, in fact, choose to visit the Abruzzo for its mountains, to the national parks, for the ancient villages or if you move in the coastal area, the beautiful beaches and the sea. But if you love the art cities strongly urge you to include in your travel itinerary Chieti in Abruzzo. Chieti is small and you can visit it without problems on foot, in a day or at most a weekend. in addition to this it is within easy reach of some of the most beautiful beaches of Abruzzo, in an hour from the Maiella National Park and just over an hour and a half from the Abruzzo National Park. It is therefore a strategic tourist destination, halfway between the sea and the mountains of Abruzzo.
