About this property

Surrounded by forests, vines and olive groves, the Borgo Livernano offers historic accommodation in the heart of the Chianti Hills, close to both Siena and Florence. The Borgo Livernano is also close to many local towns, historic sites, fine restaurants, and famous wineries. The complete restoration of the entire estate began in 1990. Today, Borgo Livernano is a working farm, producing fine wines, excellent olive oil and honey, vegetables and fruits. All meals served at Borgo Livernano feature local produce. Two of the estate's houses have been completely redesigned and furnished with local antiques, to accommodate guests. A spacious swimming pool provides relaxing moments.

The love for Tuscany led my husband Bob and me in 1997 to buy the village of Livernano and starting a complete restoration, bringing the property back to its ancient beauty. The hospitality and our high level service is for us the expression to live the territory in its beauty and taste the goodness of its natural products. Livernano and Casalvento, our winery in Radda in Chianti, are considered important location in the Chianti Classico area, the wines are highly rated and have won awards for the best productions in recent decades. We are waiting for you to enjoy together one of the greenest paradises in the world. Cheers!!

Property information

Our Borgo is located in the heart of classic Chianti, surrounded only by olive groves and vineyards. An old white dirt road for 8 km will lead you to our farmhouse, an ideal place to surround yourself only with the sounds of nature and spend a relaxing stay. The 11 rooms, which are located in three different buildings, are all furnished in Tuscan style. Reception service is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm: please indicate your estimated time of arrival when booking. If your arrival is scheduled after that time, please contact our front desk. For breakfast our guests find a small buffet both sweet and savory. An equipped outdoor pool is reserved for overnight guests only, and free wi-fi is available throughout the property.
