El Iris se encuentra en un edificio del siglo XVII, cerca de la fortaleza de Rocca Paolina y de la iglesia de Sant'Ercolano de Perugia. Dispone de una amplia terraza panorámica que ofrece vistas al centro histórico y a las colinas. Las grandes habitaciones están decoradas con buen gusto. Presentan frescos en los techos y cuadros en las paredes. Todas ofrecen un baño privado con ducha. El hotel Iris está a 2 minutos a pie de la terminal de autobuses de Piazza Partigiani, con salidas diarias a Asís, Gubbio y Orvieto.
