Kjartan D is a premium host and has a long history of welcoming guests to their temporary Icelandic homes. Birta Rentals is a family business established in 2013 and has been growing steadily since.

On the Ground floor we have two bedrooms, both bedrooms with King Size beds (180x200cm) that can also used as two Single Beds (2x 90x200cm), Kitchen fully loaded with everything you need, laundry room where we have washing machine and dryer, bathroom with shower. In the living room we have nice sitting area, TV and Apple TV with streaming services, Netflix etc. On the Upper floor we have main bathroom, with nice shower, we have Organic Shampoo, Conditioner and Bodysoap from Sóley. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one with King Size bed (180x200cm) that can also used as two Single Beds 90x200cm), the 4th bedroom has Double bed (140x200cm) and the 5th bedroom has Single bed (120x200cm). We have foldable single bed for Child that can be used in one of the bedrooms or in the living room upstairs. We have also TV upstairs and Playstation 5, with 2 remotes. Outside we have wooden patio where we have BBQ Grill

Our Lodge is located in Lón ( meaning Lagoon ), south east of Iceland, surounded with breathtaking landscape and naturel, black sand beaches, amazing mountains all around, like Vestrahorn and Brunnhorn often nicknamed The Batman Mountain. Great location to explore the east of Iceland, many nice hiking routes in the area. Town Höfn is only 34 km / 29 min drive away, there you find local swimming pool, grocery / liqour store, pharmacy, restaurants etc.
