This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. Bitra Guesthouse is a welcoming and affordable hotel in South Iceland, close to the country’s most popular sightseeing routes. Those seeking modern accommodation with easy access to incredible natural attractions will find its location convenient and amenities plentiful. There are 17 rooms at Bitra guesthouse, with single, double, triple, and four-person family varieties. They are bright, cheery, and some boast stunning views over Mount Hekla, a local volcano. The bathrooms are shared but spacious and well-maintained. The great big icelandic breakfast is free, the wi-fi is free and also a free parking.
