We at Blue Vacations are a family run business located on a great place on the Golden Circle where we have many of Iceland’s most precious attractions around us, such as Geysir hot spring, Gullfoss waterfall, Þingvellir national park and Skálholt. We offer two types of accommodation, Blue Grove Guesthouse and Blue View Cabins. Blue Grove Guesthouse is a small log house located in the center of Reykholt village and Blue View Cabins are located on top of a hill, 3 minutes drive from Reykholt. Please note that OUR Reykholt is in the South of Iceland on the Golden Circle route (there is another Reykholt in the West of Iceland). We look forward to be your hosts :-)

Blue View Cabins are well located on top of a hill with a great 360 degree mountain range view on the Golden Circle route in the south of Iceland. The cabins have a self check in system that guests get an email with all important check in information. Some of the cabins have a private hot tub heated with geothermal water. From the cabin you have a miraculous view. We put our effort in making a cozy and comfortable accommodation for you when you return to your “home in Iceland” after experiencing many of our country's great places! Rental car is needed when staying in Blue View Cabins. 4x4 car is needed during winter november-march (suv recommended)

The South of Iceland has numerous spots that have enchanted travelers in Iceland for centuries, such as the world famous glacier Eyjafjallajökull known for its eruption in 2010. Under the right conditions, once it gets dark, you may be able to see the Northern lights. In Reykholt village you'll find restaurant Mika, famous for their great pizza, lobster salad and hand made chocolates. Also mini market Bjarnabúð, a self service gas station, a public swimming pool with hot tubs, and Friðheimar, a famous greenhouse farm and a restaurant that mainly grows tomatoes and offers a wonderful lunch which you enjoy inside the greenhouse. Nearby you will find various adventures like rafting in Hvítá river by Arcticrafting, Slakki, a domestic mini zoo in Laugarás village with a cafe/restaurant and a horse rental in Syðra-Langholt.
