Perched on high ground, the cottage overlooks Beas River meandering into Pong reservoir, and Dehra town on the northern bank of the river. The fierce and rocky Dhauladhar sub-Himalayan range, snowcapped for 7-8 months in a year, serves as the backdrop on a clear day for picture postcard views from the rooftop deck of Vayu Kutir. Your host is an IAF veteran fighter pilot who worked in the US for 8 yrs. He lives on the property with his lady wife, who is charming and an excellent cook, I currently work as a miliary analyst and my wife manages the property. We love the solitude and tranquility at our property - Vayu Kutir.

Our nearest neighbor is around 80 m away. We are perched on top of a spur that descends to a shallow valley through which river Beas enters the Pong reservoir. The view from the property includes forests, streams, river, bride on the river, lake, hills and, on a clear day, snow capped mountains! No kidding!
