The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Waterville Golf Links is 300 meters away and Hogs Head Golf Club is less than 2 km away. Rooms at The Smuggler’s Inn feature en-suite bathrooms, TVs and hairdryers. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. The Smugglers Inn Restaurant specializes in fresh seasonal local produce, with seafood being a specialty, and has a tank with live lobsters. The bar has a gastro bar food menu and there is a garden for al fresco dining at lunchtime, weather permitting. The Inn is adjacent to the world-famous Waterville Golf Links and just a 20-minute walk to the village of Waterville. Nearby Lough Currane offers excellent salmon and trout fishing. Drying facilities are available for golfing and fisherman guests. Waterville has a good selection of craft shops and pubs.

SMUGGLERS ROOMS In 2021 we renovated 15 of our rooms. The idea was to re-imagine the Smugglers Inn as a chic sea-side boutique bolthole; an escape for golfers, shooters, hill walkers, water sports enthusiasts, and those seeking out a unique experience get-away. The aim is to create cosy and comfortable rooms that combine bold coastal colours, print combinations and an eclectic mix of modern and bespoke furnishings with vintage pieces. The Interiors should ooze rural Irish coastal charm and the rich history of the family, the building; an interior that tells a the story. Our renovation was documented by RTE "At Your Service" with the Brennan Brothers. A family run beachfront establishment providing Bed & Breakfast with an award winning restaurant and fully licenced bar since1980. Whether you are looking for a romantic break away by the sea or an activity based holiday, you will find it all here in Waterville - an ideal base for touring Kerry
