If you are into Kayaking but don't have one with you, you can hire them at the Cavan Activity Center nearby, They also have them available for hire in Killykeen Forest Park. Walkers and trekkers are spoiled for choice. There are walking trails everywhere! Killykeen Forest Park, Castle Saunderson are just two examples but there are many more. In Belturbet itself there is a lovely walk around Turbet island.
