Our 300 years old stone house "House Mouse," is located in Babino Polje, the centre of island Mljet, one of the oldest places on the island. Mljet is Croatia's greenest and southest island near Dubrovnik, covered by a dense forest and Mediterranean vegetation significant for south Croatia. It is an unspoilt oasis of tranquillity that, according to legend, captivated Odysseus. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with a well equipped kitchen. There is a big terrace with barbecue. Our guests have complete privacy and we, as a hosts, are at disposal for help and questions at any time.

Mljet is an island in the Dubrovnik archipelago, an hour by boat to Dubrovnik, which is perfect for one-day excursions. Also, it takes only half an hour by ferry to the peninsula of Peljesac, known for its quality wines. The legend says that Odysseus was on Mljet, captivated by nymph Calypso - the stone bath Odysseus cave is only half an hour from the house. Holy Paul also experienced shipwreck near place Saplunara, The archaeological remains of Ottoman ceramic pottery were found in the shallow waters of h. Paul (archeological remains are part of the exhibition of the year of European Cultural Heritage). On west part of island is National Park Mljet, the woodiest part of Croatia. Hiking and diving are nice ways to explore the island.
