Villa Romantica is owned by the Pangalis family. The property used to be the home of Michael's (the father) parents and family back in 1920 approximately. A large family of 7 members used to live in this property and grow their own vegetables in the huge garden, owning a farm and wineyards. Back at the time main source of income used to be the olive oil production, baking bread, producing their own wine from the own wineyards and stockraising. The whole house has been renovated in 2010 seperating the building in 5 units but the maschines that were used for making olive oil and baking bread are being kept and maintained in one of the apartments inside the Villa. Therefore a huge history is maintaining while many poor families have worked there and also produced their own products inside this property. Today Michael has three children that have a family organic restaurant in Agios Gordios beach (3km away) named Romantic Palace, and himself owns a farm and wineyards and continues his family's tradition by prosucing wine, olive oil and growing his own vegetables, a few meters away from Villa Romantica.

Kato Pavliana is a quiet village, very close to the touristic areas, with locals living all year through. Located between beautiful mountains, green sceneries and perfect for walks in the nature discovering the beauties of this green island. Traditional cafe, snack bar and bakery are near by in the main village. Also a traditional restaurant is very close by in Ano Pavliana village about 3km away. Agios Gordios beach is 3km away and has more than 20 different restaurants, bars, cafes and markets. Further more you can find also more markets and groceries, restaurants and bakery in 5km distance in Agios Mathaios local village. Biking, hiking and birdwatching are few of the interests the visitors have but also just to relax by the pool and listen at the sounds of the birds and calmness of nature.
