Este YHA está situado junto al río, en el valle de Borrowdale, en Lakeland, y tiene unas bonitas vistas a la montaña y un ambiente informal. Ofrece paseos para toda la familia, servicio de lavandería y comidas calientes. El YHA Borrowdale es una parada recomendada de la ruta Coast to Coast de Wainwright. La bulliciosa Keswick está a unos 11 km. El establecimiento alberga una tienda de bicicletas, una sala de juegos y un salón de TV.
