Julia and Edward Timpson became the owners of Bradan Lodges in August 2025. They love the tranquillity and wild beauty of this part of Scotland and wish to share it through the rental of their lodges Pine Marten, Wildcat and Woodcock. Edward is a keen walker and is discovering the many mountains and lochs in the area while Julia is a wildlife enthusiast and birdwatcher. Both love outdoor activities, especially when accompanied by their lovable and lively border terrier, Lucas.

A luxury, Scandi-style wooden lodge designed with total privacy and luxury in mind, for couples wishing to enjoy the wilderness and peace of one of the most unspoilt and beautiful glens in Scotland, with the finest in home comforts. Enjoy an outdoor barbecue or sink into the private hot tub under the stars, on the patio festooned with fairy lights. The lodge has a cosy log burner in the living room, as well as a wide screen TV with Netflix and other apps, so you can enjoy the Scottish weather while knowing that a very warm welcome awaits you. Pets, including dogs are welcome at Woodcock Lodge. However, we can't cater for children of less than 12 years, although we are very happy to accept babes in arms.

Bradan lodges are located in one of the most important historical and pre historical sites in Europe. A few miles away is Dunadd Fort where the first kings of Scotland were crowned. Limitless walking, cycling and boating opportunities are available nearby. They are ten minutes from nearby pubs and restaurants as well as excellent food shops in Lochgilphead.
