The open plan living and dining area is immediately off the kitchen. Step from this area onto a private balcony with garden, outside furniture and a spectacular unrestricted view of the iconic mountain of Ben More and Glen Dochart. The chalet is equipped with a LCD TV, Blu Ray DVD and freeview SKY TV. Wi-Fi is available free of charge as well as Weber BBQ hire. The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for nearly 40 years and offers fantastic facilities including fresh run wild salmon and trout fishing on the estate lochs and river, mountain bikes with plenty of trails on and off road for all abilities, a games room with table tennis, table football, pool table and a small gym. Canadian canoes, kayaks and rowing boats are free to use on the river and loch. Clay pigeon shooting can also be arranged. There is even an onsite visitor centre with a small essentials shop, fresh organic meat from a farm locally for sale (perfect for a BBQ or home cooking), homemade meals by Lucy (should you not fancy cooking of an evening), local information, a varied selection of board games and DVDs. We can even offer fresh eggs most mornings from the ducks on the pond and the chickens that roam
