We personally recommend: • Bewl Water a large reservoir with a circular walk, run on cycle paths. There is a café on site and children’s playground. • Bedgebury Pinetum is a evergreen forested arboretum with numerous walking and running trails and routes for Cyclists of all levels. There is a good café on site and ‘Go Ape’ a high rise adventure suited to older children. • Stunning Bodiam castle is just up the road with a fish filled moat. • Scotney castle is a charming ruined castle which is very pretty in Spring with lots of bluebells. • The famous Leeds castle holds numerous events throughout the year including Medieval tournaments with jousting and archery. Children will love the rare breeds center around 15 minutes drive away in Woodchurch. • Various Zoos include Port Lymph and the Wild Cat Sanctuary, both well worth a visit. • The historic town of Rye offers antique shops and a host of outstanding restaurants. For wonderfully fresh seafood, visit the fishmonger located on the road out of Rye to Camber Sands. • There is a unique Motor Museum in Rolvenden which has a selection of Morgan three wheel cars. • Tenterden is a pretty market town filled with high quality pubs, restaurants and coffee shops and a range of local and brand name shops along the high street. • If you are a local ale enthusiast, visit the Old Dairy a microbrewery inn Tenterden. They offer 4 tasting ales well worth a visit. • Finally if you like your wines, many vineyards in the area offer tasting experiences. The award winning Chapeldown Vineyard also has a Museum that hosts open air theatre in summer months.

Our very cosy converted cottage has been skilfully crafted and is a wonderful character holiday home. set in 3 acres of grounds with a fishing lake. Guests are invited to book for a minimum 3 night stay. The living space has a stunning vaulted, beamed ceiling and private patrio with dog proof garden. Our cottages has a very well equipped kitchen, smart tv with netflix and very fast satellite internet. For winter months our log burner is warm and relaxing aftter a day visting attractions or enjoying the many walks direct from the cottage gate. Please note that we have a minimum 3 night stay for all bookings when placing your enquiry.
