Este hotel fue construido en 1866 y presenta una decoración de estilo mediterráneo. Se encuentra a solo 10 minutos a pie del centro de Torquay, ofrece unas vistas impresionantes a la bahía y cuenta con habitaciones amplias y luminosas, piscinas y un centro de bienestar. El Imperial Hotel está ubicado en lo alto de un acantilado y tiene vistas a Torquay y a los yates sobre el mar. La playa, el museo Torre Abbey y el English Riviera Centre se sitúan a pocos pasos. Este hotel de 4 estrellas cuenta con gimnasio, spa, tumbonas, sauna y bañera de hidromasaje. También ofrece pistas de squash y de tenis y se pueden reservar masajes y tratamientos. El restaurante Regatta, galardonado con una AA rosette, sirve platos exquisitos y vinos excelentes con vistas panorámicas a Torbay. Se puede disfrutar de aperitivos ligeros en el salón acristalado y en el bar Britannia. Las habitaciones son amplias y luminosas e incluyen zona de estar con sillones y mesas de centro.
A las parejas les encanta la ubicación. Le pusieron un 9.2 para viajes de dos personas.

The pool is sometimes used for swimming lessons (check for times). Guests can still use the pool at these times. Children are welcome to use the swimming pool until 19.30. The outdoor pool is heated and accessible at the weekends throughout the summer months and is weather dependent.
If guests wish to dine in the restaurant for an evening meal dinner reservations are required. Please note that children aged 5 and over will be charged for breakfast and dinner as taken if they are not on an inclusive package.
Guests will be required to present the payment card used to make the reservation upon check in. Failure to present the original card will result in the deposit payment being refunded back to the original card and a new charge being taken from the card presented at the hotel.
If guest wishes to pay with cash, photo ID is required, either a passport or drivers licence. This must be presented alongside the payment card used to reserve the room.
Dogs are only allowed permitted in certain rooms (sea facing and on the garden level), this is subject to availability and by prior arrangement. You must contact the property if you wish to bring a dog; there is an additional charge if you are bringing a dog. Please note that not all room types can accommodate dogs and that dogs are not permitted in areas where food is served or in any of the leisure/pool areas.
