We have 3 king size rooms with the option of one room to be two single beds if you prefer and an additional jack and Jill room with two smaller beds suitable for children.

Glyndyfrdwy is very quiet and friendly with lovely riverside and valley walks. There are some picturesque pubs like the Berwyn Arms and The Grouse Inn (recently voted best gastropub inn Wales 2022) with great food and outstanding views. It also homes a historic heritage steam railway station with tours running throughout the Dee Valley. Llangollen is less than 10mins away by car, taxi or bus, or you can take the scenic route in using the steam train. Llangollen is a vibrant town with an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional independent pubs, restaurants and shops. There are numerous festivals and lots of art and craft clubs. Canoeing, paddle boarding and water rafting are all popular pursuits available on the River Dee. There are some fantastic walks in the area. Llangollen canal takes you over pontcysyllte aquaduct, take a leisurely stroll to see the horseshoe falls, go see Valle Crucis Abbey or hike up to the castle ruins at castell dinas bran. Our cottage also acts as a great base for day trips to other places in North Wales such as Ruthin, Bala and other Snowdonia attractions.
