This impressive six bedroom and five bathroom holiday home boasts some of the best sea views in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. With spacious living accommodation, two kitchens and two sitting rooms, Gunfleet is a large self-catering holiday house ideal for family gatherings or two families looking for separate accommodation. The top floor of the house is comprised of a sitting room, en-suite bathroom and two balconies overlooking the sea and the River Alde. Finished to a high standard and with the owner’s art on display in many of the rooms, the house has a surprise around every corner.

Neighbourhood information

Aldeburgh is a town situated on the River Alde on the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast. It is famous for the annual Aldeburgh Festival, which takes place nearby at Snape Maltings – home to the renowned composer Benjamin Britten. Aldeburgh also hosts a carnival which takes place annually over a long weekend in August. It includes a funfair, mini-marathon, carnival procession, military band and fireworks display. Whilst in Aldeburgh, make sure you visit the lifeboat station, Moot Hall, Martello Tower, buy fresh fish from the fishermen’s huts on the beach and do not forget to try the famous fish and chip shop.
