The just over 1 mile coastal meander to Brixham Harbour and town is very picturesque and once there you will find a vibrant mix of cafes, shops and restaurants. Regular bus services are available nearby too. So if desired walk there ride back...... Autumn Rose cottage has a pleasant outlook to the rear with sheep, lambs and goats in the field beyond, along with the sound of birds singing. It's approached via an original cobbled pathway. Many of the period features remain, including wooden beams, the flagstone floor and a large stone fireplace with a wood burner – perfect for cozying up in the wintertime with a good book from the excellent selection available. To the rear is a totally enclosed sunny courtyard garden, which is enhanced by an array of seasonal flowering plants along with ample garden furniture. A barbecue is provided, ideal for a sunny evening and the catch of the day from the harbour fish market. The local pub - The Railway Inn is within walking distance and serves a good selection of dishes. Additionally there is within a 5 minute walk a regular bus service to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. Autumn Rose is well equipped (the owner being a keen cook), and is a home away from home along with quality, traditional furniture. The primary bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom contains full size bunk beds with toppers, making them perfectly suitable for adults. .
