My husband and I are both from the south-west of France. After finishing our studies and work in Paris we decided, after twenty years, to look for a new home closer to our families. I left behind a career in the pharmaceutical industry to create this guest house and my husband still works in the Computing Industry.

Welcome to our Guest House, called ‘L’Autre Rives’ ! The only City Break Luxury by Gîte de France in Albi. Our luxurious modern home full of charm and character is waiting for you near the centre of Albi. L'Autre Rives is located just a 10 minutes walk from the center of Albi in a quiet and relaxing residential area. It has a large two acre garden for you to enjoy which contains a beautiful swimming pool and inside the house is a sauna and gym. The house dates from the 20th century, built between the two wars. It was built by local craftsmen in Albi with quality local materials. It has a steep slate roof which gives it an imposing appearance and is positioned to allow you to view Albi’s famous Cathedral in the distance, on the other side of the river Tarn. Since we bought the house in 2015 it has been extensively renovated and modernised to convert it into a luxury guest house which allows our clients to relax and to discover the beautiful city of Albi and the treasures it contains. Our 5 guest rooms (one on the ground floor, 4 upstairs in the middle floor) are spacious en suites, each with their own unique style but all are modern and contemporary.
