Very close to our accommodations is the famous Puerta de Elvira of Granada. The monument, very well preserved, speaks of the strategic importance of Granada during that time. If you visit Granada, you must, of course, visit the Alhambra of Granada. You can reach the Alhambra with a pleasant walk of less than 2.5 kilometers through the center of Granada, passing, for example, the famous Paseo de los Tristes or the Mirador Placeta de Carvajales, from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the Alhambra. The Alhambra of Granada is the city's main tourist attraction and is located a short distance from the Puerta de Elvira. You can visit the magnificent Nasrid palaces, the beautiful Generalife gardens, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Alcazaba. We also recommend you wander through the streets of the beautiful El Albaicín neighborhood, one of the most beautiful in Andalusia. It is an old Arab neighborhood, right next to the Puerta de Elvira. You can get lost in its narrow cobbled streets, admire the Moorish architecture, and enjoy views of the Alhambra from the San Nicolás viewpoint. Another must-visit is the Granada Cathedral. Located in the city center, it is an impressive Renaissance masterpiece. You can visit its interior and climb the tower to enjoy a panoramic view of Granada.
