Just three blocks from the beach, in a quiet and safe street in the heart of Isabela, you'll find Gran Hostal Tintorera — a family-run place designed for real rest and authentic connection with the Galápagos Islands. All our rooms are private: 33 spacious accommodations with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and plenty of natural light. No shared spaces, — just comfort and calm, so you feel right at home. What guests love the most is our breakfast: every morning we serve fresh island fruit, natural juices, bread, coffee, local cheese, and handmade jam — all without chemicals. It’s our way of sharing a little taste of the island with you. We don’t have a pool or parking (you won’t need a car here), but we do offer something more valuable: closeness, honest hospitality, and the perfect location to explore the island by foot. If you need help booking tours, local tips, or just someone to talk to, we’re here for you. At Tintorera, you don’t just sleep. You breathe Isabela, feel at ease, and experience the island from the inside out.

You're close enough to walk everywhere, yet far enough to enjoy peace, fresh air, and silence. Within a short stroll you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, local restaurants, and even the CNT office if you need to connect or take care of something. From here, you can walk to the boardwalk, the tour dock, or simply wander along trails filled with native plants, marine iguanas, and birds.
