Marita’s B&B is a one level structure. Guest walking with difficulty do not need to be concerned about climbing stairs, there are none. A terrace, open day and night, overlooking the garden, is provided where guest can see and listen to the birds, converse, have breakfast. Marita serves a delicious free Costa Rican breakfast in her B&B. For emergency escape, two private access doors are provided in each bedroom. Each bedroom is also provided with a private family style bath. A private locked parking area is provided. A fire extinguisher and a smoke detector are provided in the kitchen area. Marita’s B&B is located adjacent to the German Bakery, an Italian restaurant and is within walking distance to all Nuevo Arenal public facilities, see location map photo. Marita’s B&B is also a 10-minute walk to beautiful Lake Arenal Park. Fishing, swimming, kayaking and sun-bathing takes place here. Sanitary facilities and vehicle access roads are provide in the park. For those using public transportation, a bus stop that connects Nuevo Arenal to San Jose, Liberia, San Carlos, and La Fortuna. is located 10 meters from Maria’s B&B. Marita Villalobos, a native Costa Rican, is married, has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Marita purchased her home 40 years ago. She has converted her Nuevo Arenal 2-bedroom home into a 4-bedroom traditional Bed and Breakfast. Three of the four bedrooms accommodate 10 persons, Marita cooks and serves her guest a free delicious Costa Rican breakfast daily in her B&B. Marita enjoys gardening. Marita and Albert, her husband, live at Marita’s B&B.

Nuevo Arenal is a beautiful town. It is located high and never gets too cold or too hot. Almost daily, a fresh wind blows and breathing the air is incredible. Marita's B&B is located a short walk to all Nuevo Arenal shops, supermarkets, taverns, clinic, churches, etc. Marita's B&B is located a short (10 minute) walk to beautiful Lake Arenal. Crime in Nuevo Arenal is minimal. Children take pride in their school and sports activity. Typical of Costa Ricans, the citizen are friendly and well mannered.
