The Guangdong Victory Hotel (Guangdong Shengli Binguan) is located on Shamian Island. The area, with all its colonial European buildings, leafy boulevards and shady parks, has been restored after the island's tumultuous history, transforming it into a Western paradise. Metro Lines 1 and 6 can be taken at Huangsha Station but a short walk from the island, facilitating guests’ commute around the city. The Guangdong Victory Hotel (Guangdong Shengli Binguan) guestrooms follow a fusion of Asian-Western styles and are designed to provide guests with all home comforts throughout their stay on the island. Each room offers all the standard amenities such as Internet access and in-room safes. Dining options include Western and Chinese cuisines Buffet breakfast, a la carte items and room service are all available. A coffee shop welcomes guests in the vast lobby area. Guests traveling for business can make use of the hotel's business center and its services, as well as conference rooms and a function hall, which can readily accommodate any event or meeting. For recreation, guests should definitely go out and explore the island, but the hotel houses many enjoyable facilities including an elevated pool, a large billiards room,as well as a fully equipped gym.
