I, Jaimie, was born on the coast in Knokke-Heist. I spent my childhood living and going to school in Bruges. My studies led me to Antwerp, and love led me to Ghent. Damme, Bruges, and the coast are still the places that make my heart beat faster, where we always love to return, and why our holiday home is our dream. The location of our holiday home in Damme is ideal for us. On a quiet street with a view of greenery, centrally located between Bruges, Knokke, and Sluis.

We love historic Bruges, full of culture, museums, charming streets, the Saturday market, shopping, great coffee and breakfast spots, and delicious restaurants. The picturesque green Damme, with beautiful walking and cycling routes all the way to the coast and beyond. The center of Damme, where my friends and I had the best time of our lives as teenagers at café-restaurant De Smisse, is definitely worth exploring, and there are even more wonderful restaurants. Of course, we also love the wonderfully diverse Knokke and Zoute, with the beauty and tranquility of the beach and sea. The beautiful dike where you can cycle all the way to Cadzand with its wonderful De Blanke Top spa. The many beach bars, the finest restaurants, the most beautiful boutiques with the biggest brands. The best ice cream can be found at crèmerie De la Post on the dike in Knokke and Duinbergen. Rent bikes on the sea dike and cycle in Het Zoute among the beautiful white villas, or go to the Zwin nature reserve to the famous Keun and enjoy breathtaking views and nature. If you're sporty, you'll definitely find beautiful walks here, strolling along the beach, on the dike, or by the water. Yoga or Pilates on the beach, fitness at one of the clubs, swimming in Bruges or Knokke. Enjoy a night out bowling or go-karting at De Smiles in Knokke, or a trip to the cinema together at Kinepolis Bruges. Or perhaps you'd prefer tennis, paddle tennis, mini golf, or surfing and water sports on the beach or by the water at Lakesideparadise. And if you're a golf enthusiast, you'll definitely find something to enjoy here too.
