Prepare to fall in love with The Salty Seagull...our top-floor beach apartment boasting epic ocean views, luxury furnishings and all the little ‘extras', just steps from the sand! Designed with luxe beachside living in mind, our apartment offers high end furnishings, French linens, a feature stone fireplace and breathtaking balcony views – making it ideal for a romantic escape, a double-couple retreat or a fun-filled family getaway by the bay.
I'm a super busy mum with two beautiful boys and five thriving wedding/restaurant businesses! Our family loves to travel and it's important for us to find holiday homes that are unique, homely and 'special' - so we can treat them just like our own. As the property owners we are here to help whenever you need us! Reach out any time if we can help make your stay perfect.
Encounter Bay is a safe, quiet and gorgeous part of the Fleurieu Peninsula. In summer, enjoy outdoor dining, beach fun and hiking - while during the cooler months, enjoy watching the majestic southern right and humpback whales as they visit the coast to nurse their calves (late May to August/September). Year-round you can spot seals and dolphins in the bay, try your hand at fishing, head out on a boat tour from the wharf or explore the many shops, cafes and restaurants in the beautiful coastal towns of Victor Harbor, Goolwa and Port Elliott. And of course, no trip to the Fleurieu Peninsula is complete without a trip to Granite Island on the historic horse- drawn tram! For the ultimate in relaxation, simply sit back and enjoy spectacular sunrises, sunsets and the sparkling ocean any time from the balcony of The Salty Seagull. The Salty Seagull is just steps from the beautiful sands of Encounter Bay - and a quick drive to the cafes, shops and attractions of Victor Harbor, Port Elliott and more.
