Open the beach side doors and allow the cool sea breezes to flow through the house. Laze in the cool plunge pool and enjoy the great views to Dunk Island across the Coral Sea. If creating that dining masterpiece is a distress for you the well equipped gourmet kitchen will ensure this is achieved with ease. Dine on the beach side verandah or maybe the covered alfresco rear entertaining area. Going to bed early could be enticing, especially on a full moon rising. The one way glass wall will allow you to take it all in - falling asleep to the "Ripples" of the waves as they gentle fall onto the shore. If watching the sunrise is your preferred way to greet the day, again lazing in the main bedroom would be memorable. For those happy to share Ripples on the Beach with family or friends there are another 2 bedrooms located on the alfresco deck. These bedrooms are not suitable for smaller children - perhaps 8 years plus. No need to dine at Ripples every night. A short stroll and you can enjoy dining at one of the restaurants or cafes in the quaint shopping village at Mission Beach or just a few doors away is the fabulous Castaways Resort Bistro and Bar. Mission Beach is a great location for your holiday. The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also a great fruit and vegetable store, mini mart and specialty food store/bakery. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. The first and third Sunday of each month there are markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Monster Markets are Last Sunday of month from Easter Sunday to November. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at Mission Beach. The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool. The “Splash’N’Dunk” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. Woolworths Supermarket is just a 5 - 10 min drive from Mission Beach village. It is located at Wongaling Beach. Launch your boat within 5 minutes drive at the new Clump Point Boat Harbour which provides a safe launching facility in a protected harbour.
