We offer you a place in a fresh new house but in one of Perth's oldest and most central suburbs. You will have an exclusive private upstairs suite comprising a spacious, sunny sitting room with small balcony overlooking a courtyard garden. You are provided with fridge, sink, microwave, tea and coffee making, toaster, comfortable leather sofa or easy chairs. A dining table and chairs overlooks the courtyard. TV in your sitting room. Your Queen size bedroom also with small balcony overlooking courtyard. Built-in robes for your storage. Large private bathroom with bath and separate shower. Separate toilet. Ducted airconditioning or open the French Doors to welcome Perth's fresh sea breeze. Supermarket 10 minutes walk open 24/7. Your breakfast will be left set up in your sitting room so you can relax and enjoy your morning in private. You are very welcome to join your hosts downstairs for a chat and share local information. You may also use the sunny courtyard any time - morning or evening.
We have lived and raised our family in West Leederville over the last 27 years. We love living here as it so convenient to everything. We love walking in Kings Park, enjoy local coffee shops and small restaurants. Being semi-retired and children grown up, we enjoy travelling and in particular trekking and hiking. We have recently returned from our 3rd trek in the Nepal Himalayas. We can share ideas of very nice walks around Perth.
What do we think you will enjoy about your stay in Perth and West Leederville? Everything! Your B& B is very centrally located. 2 minute walk to Lake Monger where you will see Perth's famous black swans as well as many other local water birds and land birds. Many migrating birds call into the Lake. There is a pleasant easy 3.5km walk track around the Lake. You will be 10 minutes walk from the train line taking you either just 2 stops into the city of Perth or opposite direction to historic port city of Fremantle. 10 minute walk to Oxford Street cafe strip with many restaurants and picture theatre. 8 minute drive (3.3km) to Perth's favourite tourist destination, Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Not to be missed and one visit may not be enough! 12 minute drive (7.7km) to City Beach. Probably one of the best beaches in the world. We can also direct you to other best beaches in the world only a few more km up and down the coast. 500 metre drive to entrance to the Freeway for easy travel to northern or southern suburbs. Free street parking directly in front of our house. Secure parking in on site garage. 3 train stops to Perth's new Optus Stadium.
