Purpose built as a luxurious Bed and Breakfast and only 2.5kms north of the town centre. Mudgee Guesthouse has been designed for couples with entertainment and relaxing in mind. Walking distance to Cellar by Gilbert, a charming old stone building offering guests the chance to enjoy award-winning wines and small bites made from locally sourced and homegrown produce in a relaxed, wine-bar like environment. Also on the side of Gilbert's is the High Valley Cheese tasting room. Award winning cheese producers from Mudgee. The Small Winemakers Centre is walking distance from Mudgee Guesthouse. The hundred year old building/shearing shed has heaps of rustic charm and includes a large underground cellar. The Cellar is used to conduct wine tastings during the Summer months. A walk/bike path leads to the Putta Bucca Wetlands. This waterbird paradise exhibits a range of flora and fauna.
