Sink into the luxurious comfort of our king-size ‘Bed of Dreams,’ adorned with buttery soft linens and oversized plush pillows. Wake up to the sounds of birds visiting our lush backyard garden or close the shutters and enjoy a leisurely morning in bed. Another large flat-screen TV is available for your Netflix fix. A full laundry, hidden behind a handmade, recycled timber sliding barn door, includes a front loader washing machine and a heat pump dryer for your convenience. Step outside your sliding door to access our private 10-meter saltwater swimming pool, where you can splash away the hours. In the cooler winter months (July & August), our pool heating takes a break — but if you're game, it’s the perfect ice bath wake-up call! Your deck is the perfect spot to start your day with morning sun and hot coffee or end your night relaxing under the stars. Sing along to your favourite music on the Alexa speaker, light some candles, pour some wine, and lose track of time.

My husband and I have been renovating our home and adding our beautiful Guest House to our property and we have finally finished after about 2 years. We run a full time laser tag and escape room experience inside The Maitland Gaol. In our very limited spare time we love to bike ride, renovate and enjoy our home. We will always respect your right to privacy during your stay. In saying that, we are happy to have as much or as little interaction as you like. If we cross paths in the shared spaces, please feel welcome and free to have a chat or share a cuppa. Please don’t feel like you have to spend all of your stay inside the guesthouse. Enjoy our outdoor spaces.

The location is perfect with beaches, restaurants and our shopping centre a short 5 minute drive away for all of your holiday supplies. We back onto Horizons Golf Course and access is just up the road. Nelson Bay township offers an array of aquatic activities including our famous dolphin cruises. There is also an abundance of cafes, take-aways, restaurants and boutique shops on offer for you to enjoy. We have lots of parks to enjoy and Conroy Park offers BBQ's, picnic tables, and public amenities. This park is parallel to Corlette Beach which leads to the Anchorage Marina (4.8 ks) where there is a delightful restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and hosting a magnificent bay view. Restaurants close by at Old Salamander Shops or you can take a short 10 min drive into Nelson Bay. We are centrally located between shops, beaches and restaurants in a quiet neighbourhood for your restful stay. Restaurants and shops a close 5 min drive away. You can stroll down to Soldiers Point beaches and picnic parks. While most visitors get further afield using their own transport, bus, taxi and Uber services all operate locally.
