Located in the coastal town of Rye, Kanasta Caravan Park offers self-contained cabin accommodation and retro caravan accommodation. Kanasta offers free on-site parking for one car per cabin or Glamper. Guests of the holiday park can prepare a meal in the BBQ area or play a game of table tennis. Younger guests can explore the children’s playground. Kanasta Caravan Park is a short 8-minute walk from the popular Rye foreshore and beach, with a variety of dining options available a short 10 minute walk down to Point Nepean Road. The town of Rye is a 40-minute drive from Frankston and a 1.5-hour drive from Melbourne’s CBD. All of the cabins are air-conditioned and feature a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator, with there own private bathroom, flat-screen TV and a DVD player. After a day on the beach, you can share a meal in the outdoor dining area. The retro glamping caravans have been lovingly restored and come complete with a double-sized bed and luxury linen. They are a short walk to the toilet/shower block. Additional facilities at the holiday park include a games room with arcade games and a billiards table. Popular activities in Rye include swimming, fishing, golfing and boating.

Kanasta Caravan Park is located 1.5hrs from Melbourne, making it an easy weekend escape and only 5 minutes walk from the Rye boat launching ramp, cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs/clubs and safe swimming beaches of Rye’s Port Phillip Bay. We specialise in self contained en suite cabins and pride ourselves on our secure, tree lined, quiet location.

THINGS TO DO ON THE MORNINGTON PENINSULA. The Coastal township of Rye is nestled between Rosebud and Sorrento, and is a little more than an hours drive from Melbourne. It’s central position makes it a perfect choice for accessing all of the Tourist attractions in the region. There are many things to do on the Mornington Peninsula. If you haven’t visited for a while or at all, it’s the most wonderful place to experience with the family, friends or loved ones. Kanasta Caravan Park is only an 8 Minute Drive to the Peninsula Hot Springs, Walking distance to the Rye Front beach and Rye Main Strip of Shops. It is also very close to the Enchanted Maze, Horse riding 10 Minute drive to the rosebud Plaza where we have Kmart, Coles and Target just to name a few. Discover the beautiful surrounds of the peninsula with visiting some of our amazing wineries, the enchanted maze, visit and see the dolphins you can even go tree surfing.
