This absolutely enchanting property encompassing five acres of exquisite open gardens and a handful of boutique holiday accommodations From our beautifully appointed French provincial style King and Queen suites, to our cozy cottages. The three cottages:- the River, the Velvet Pear and the Olive tree, each with their own unique style. Idyllically located in the heart of Tilba Tilba, just a short drive to the beach and at the foothills of Gulaga Mt Dromedary, a dramatic backdrop against Tilba’s rolling hills leading down to the amazing coastline. Foxglove also offers the perfect venue for stunning intimate, weddings ceremonies and receptions. The peaceful ponds, mature trees, glorious blooms of every shade and colour, provide an ideal setting for an elegant garden ceremony and the opportunity for stunning photographs for those ever-lasting memories. Please enquire about our honeymoon package. The honeymoon suit awaits with chocolate covered strawberries and Champaign on ice. In the morning, a leisurely stroll through the gardens and a two-course gourmet breakfast on your private and secluded patio. Romance and relaxation at it’s best.
We first saw the “Foxglove for sale” sign while commuting from Narooma to Thredbo. We had been managing a ski lodge and still running saltwater b & b, so commuting between the two places became the norm. Around that time I had my heart set on a property in England, discovered while holidaying in the village where I spent my childhood. The UK property wasn’t to be, so I needed something else to put my energy, passion and attention on. We saw the tall Oaks, the Manchurian Pear arbor and the early 1900 planting of Norfolk pines and – we ignored the mountains of work and the impending mortgage. We were hooked…… We arrived here in January 2012 with the last of our six children, Bianca. We got busy in the garden along with renovating the houses and the cottages, bringing them back to their former glory
Tilba Tilba is surrounding by great national parks, galleries, shops, cafes, and gardens. Enjoy the fresh country air, the proximity to beaches, fishing, wineries, the ABC cheese factory and the historic Tilba township. With views of Little Dromedary and Mt Dromedary, (Guluga) an idyllic retreat for artist, garden lovers, bush walkers or bird watchers. Not to mention for those who want to purely relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
